Who we are

Edtex is a New Zealand-based educational AV consultancy operated by David Campton. We supply, install, and provide training for audiovisual technology in schools across Auckland, Northland, and Waikato. Our website is edtex.co.nz.

What information we collect

When you contact us through our website or complete our AV Readiness Scorecard, we collect:

• Your name and the name of your school
• Your email address and phone number
• Your message or enquiry details
• Your responses to the AV Readiness Scorecard, if completed

We do not collect student data, financial information, or any information about individuals other than the staff member making contact.

Why we collect it

We collect this information solely to respond to your enquiry and to provide our services. We do not use it for marketing without your consent, and we never sell or share it with third parties.

Where it's stored

Your information is stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase on AWS infrastructure in Sydney, Australia. It is accessible only to David Campton.

How long we keep it

We retain contact information for 24 months after our last interaction. Job and installation records are retained for 7 years as required by NZ tax law. You can request deletion of your information at any time.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how visitors use the site. These tools collect anonymised data about page visits and interactions. They do not identify individual visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

Our website uses only essential session cookies required for basic functionality, plus analytics cookies from the tools described above. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies that identify individuals.
